2001 buick century has no idicator light for park neutral or 2 and car will not start what is problem and how do i fix it


You will need to have some testing done to find this problem. I recommend the dealer to do this.

Hi all i have 2001subaru impreza headlights play up sometimes they went out a few seconds when i idicate left anyone there know whats wrong as my local mechanic gave up.very grateful


Sounds like a switch/stalk connection problem on your steering column. That's about the only place both sets of controls are co-located.

Although a different car, I had a dip/flash steering stalk control break. Every time I went over a bump, the headlights would flash, whether lights were turned on or off.

Hi have no idicators, central locking, fans inside ABS & Airbag light on


Is the engine starting?

Not sure I have understood the problem. Please confirm if this is correct.

1. the indicator lights on your dashboard do not come on (green lights). Are you saying the green left and right arrow lights do not turn on when you turn the indicator lever up or down. Do you see the outside orange lights flashing?
2. central locking is not working
3. the ABS and Airbag lights on dashoard are on
4. what happens to the fan. This is no clear either.

The neutral tow kit is nothing more than a LED to indicate that the transfer case is in neutral. I installed my own LED and had the dealership download the program. This is for 2001 - 2005. The tow indicator light plugs into the small green connector under the steering wheel. I cut the connector off and installed straight line wire connectors and hooked it up to the LED. I had the dealer confirm that following the sequence of steps the transfer case was in neutral. Make sure the vehicle is secured (won't roll away)
1. have the engine running
2. put the shift level into neutral
3. turn the key back one position (off but not locked)
4. indicator light wil come on and then turn off
5. press the brake and the 4X4 auto button for about 5 seconds
6. the indicator light will flash 4 times and then stay on
7. release the brake and the 4X4 button
8. transfer case is in neutral

you should have a fuse under the hood for daylight running lights in the black box

Gearshift selector problem


The gear selector switch is either out of adjustment or it is bad. Loosen the two bolts holding the gear selector in place and turn it slightly to see if the display stops flashing. You will have to manually shift the transmission lever at the switch into neutral, and then turn the switch until the display says neutral. Tighten the bolts and then check all gears. It's also possible the shift cable could also be out of adjustment. Does the display change if you simply wiggle the gear selector lever?

2006 tribeca same problem


The problem is a 7.5amp fuse in the fuse box under the hood labeled "EBR+1" or something like that. Replace that fuse and the problem should disappear.

There is no indicators working on the car the message trip computer system is stuck on the same message and and cannot toggle between average speed etc. the message and dashboard lights are very dull. the...


The hazards most likely still work, but when they key is out, it won't flash on the dash, but will outside.

As for the indicators and trip...could be either a steering wheel module to a turn signal stalk issue.

Were you having problems with the turn idicators acting weird before?
