It is hard to do if don't have a coil spring suppressor. It also could endanger your life if you don't know what your doing, if you don't think you can do this then don't.

How do I chnage the front and rear shocks in a 2001 4.0

The shocks in the rear just unbolt top and bottom, disconnect the air line and replace them.

Struts are used in the front. You'll need to remove them and then have a spring compressor to change the struts. An alignment check is recommended after the struts are replaced.

How hard is it to replace a rear strut on a 91 chevrolet lumina

You need to have a floor jack and a couple of jack stands. Two bolts hold the strut to the rear wheel/brake assembly and I believe it is one bolt in the trunk. I changed mine about 3 years ago. You shouldn't need any special tools for this. You should have a 4 wheel alignment performed after the struts are replaced. The two bolts on the wheel assembly control the camber of the tire, I would recommend that you look at where the old bolts were when you tighten the bolts down for the new strut.

My wifes taurus right rear strut is leaking fluid also sway bar mounting rod had a bolt snap off how much do you thinks it would cost to repair.thankyou.

Labor rates vary by location and shop, so it's hard to give an exact estimate. I will say that (if they are more than two years old) you should replace both rear struts, and if the front struts are more than about four years old, you most likely should replace them too.
Parts cost for the struts are about $100-$200 each depending on model and such. labor should be about the same amount. So you are looking at $400-$800 for both rear struts or $800-1600 for all four.
Assuming the bolt is not hard to reach to drill out, it should not be more than $50 or so. If it is hard to reach, it could be more.

How hard is it to replace the rear shocks on a kia sedona and what do you do?

Struts are in the front, regular bolt on bolt off shocks in the rear.

Any novice can do shocks, while struts are something better left to experienced people.

Excessive bounce of rear end.

Actually, these are struts, and you need two new ones. You do not have an air suspension unless someone added one.

You will need a spring compressor to replace. The replacement struts can be bought for around $200 (ea) fully assembled, you can but the strut only (without springs or mounts) and take it and the old strut to a shop ($15.00 a strut to change spring and mount), or you can have them do the whole thing.

Does a 95 mustang have shocks or struts and how hard are they to chenge can you DIY it

struts in the front, shocks in the rear. struts take what are called cartridges, they require special tools to replace, shocks are just simple hand tools and very easy to replace.
