Question about 1994 Chrysler Concorde
So the trunk ajar light is on in the message center, but the trunk is securely closed. How can this be fixed? can I just disable the light on the message center? If so how is that done?
You can clean the switch , use contact cleaner , from any store for computer, or electronic parts.
If the problem persist the light is in short, replace it
God bless you

Check for broken wires running from the body to the trunk lid through the rubber boot. When the trunk is closing you can see the kink in the rubber boot. There are 11 wires to supply 1 solenoid so I think Chrysler knew there was problem.

Does the back seat fold down? If so you may be able to get into the trunk from the back seat. Check to see if a fuse is blown for the remote trunk latch. The owner's manual should help to see if there is a fuse for it.

All gas charged supports are not created equal. I recommend using O.E. for this application.
Snow, ice and trapped water make the lid heavier than it should be make sure these are not the issue.
