I need year--make--model? Most of the diagrams I look at, the power windows use a circuit breaker, not a fuse. If your fuse box is labeled take a look. Sometimes your owners manual will show location of fuses and circuit breakers.
Hello Sharon, I don't know model year?
I could get a wiring diagram for you, but, I don't want to get the wrong one. I need model year. Usually the power windows work off circuit breaker. Your fuse box cover interior or under the hood fuse box, may show you which fuse--relay--circuit breaker does what? Your owners manual may have this info?
I don't know model year? So I can't post a diagram. Hopefully your owners manual will show you location of applicable fuses and relay where applicable. Your fuse box cover may have this info. www.fleet.ford.com may have your owners manual Then you check applicable fuse and voltage on fuse circuit. As far as applicable relay, the control side of relay needs voltage and ground, the load side of relay needs voltage.
You mean a 97 model, right ? I'm looking at 1998 wiring diagrams because I don't have a good set for a 97 but it should be the same. Its somewhat complicated, so you may need to get a used shop manual to get all of the wiring diagrams to be able to check the circuits. There is a park lamp relay in the circuit and the body computer is involved too. There are both high and low beam relays used after the dimmer switch. And each circuit has its own fuse. The headlight switch generally controls the relays rather than powering the lights directly.
