Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Keeps going into reduced power mode, no codes, already replaced throttle body.

There will be fault codes for this problem but they are not showing because the method of getting them out is different to just hooking up a scanner in the data link. Limp mode comes from sensors in the engine system and also from the transmission system, so get the codes before you waste money shooting in the dark

4 Codes in computer

code p0128 indicates a mechanical fault ( could be the thermostat stuck open)
code p0174 -system too lean -bank2 ===causes --intake /exhaust leak--fuel pressure/pump--injectors--AIR system--hose connection/s
code po171 refers to system too lean bank 1 same as po174 with the HO2S sensor being the culprit. As to all being related . only by way of the o2 sensors
code p0442 is not connected to the first 3 as it is in a different section of the fuel system

I have a 2004 f150 4.2v6 the service engine light is on it showed codes p2195,p2197,po171 and po174

Cleaninf the MAF doesn't alwayw solve the problem. Call up the ford dealership. Ask to speak with a mechanic. This is all free. Ask the mechanic for the code data. Otherwise take to advance auto, autozone or orielly;s. They will hook up diagnostic tester for FREE and tell you which sensor is bad. Then go online and order part, but pick up at store after ordering. Cheaper online.

unless you are dealing with a diesel trained mechanic you will be wasting your time and money

A 2004 Dodge stratus with the 4 cylinder that will not start

code p 16 refers to crankshaft position/cam shaft position bank 1 sensor A--correlation====causes ---wiring---CKP sensor ( crankshaft position sensor )---mechanical fault

code p 0340 refers to -camshaft (CMP) sensor A bank 1 circuit malfunction ===causes wiring--CMP sensor--ECM
cosrs nothing to check the timing belt , just remove the oil filler cap and see if the rockers are moving when turning it over
the clue here may be bewteen the 2 codes , the word correlation and circuit malfunction so check the wiring, harness connections for pin corrosion and then substitute the ECM with a know good unit as the correlarion and circuit malfunction could be in the ECM
if the ECM program is not getting good reports for both sensors then it reasons that the piston and cam shaft are not timed properly and so will not allow it to start

Looking for an OBD II scan tool to buy.

I have an Actron, OBDII. which has different cables for different vehicle manufacturers. The more expensive models will read codes for US, European, and Asian built vehicles. Check the scanner description, because although they may be able to read codes from all of these makes, they may require the purchase of additional cables to be able to plug into different ports. Some of the pricey units come with more cables. They will work on 96 and newer cars.
