There are fuses for the 4x4 system check your owners manual for a description and location of the fuses. There is a electrical solenoid actuator on the transfer case which engages the 4x4.

Have you checked the fuse boxes for the affected fuses? There is one in the cab and one under the hood, refer to the owner's manual for fuse numbers and descriptions of what those fuses supply power to. If you don't have an owners manuals go HERE

About fuse description and location... this information is in your Jeep Grand Cherokee Owners Manual or better yet, in the Repair Manual 8W Electrical Section.

This fuses is located in the instrument panel fuse block is located on the passenger's side of the vehicle (blobe box external side).

Hope this helps; also keep in mind that your feedback is important and I'll appreciate your time and consideration if you leave some testimonial comment about this answer.

Need to know the fuse layout do not have the

You can find the information in your owner's manual or you might need a repair manual. Both of those may be available for trouble shooting on the website of the auto maker. Google Dodge and see if you can.

The fuses may be in a box close to the floor under the dash. Another likely place is under the bonnet. There will be a label that tells you what is inside the box.

I just found out that I'm missing alot of fuses on my 1986 Cadillac Fleetwood and I want to know how do I figure out which fuse goes where because I just bought fuses to put where there is none

First off, not all the slots need a fuse. Some are dummy slots for options your car may not have. Next check your hand book, should be in the glove box. That book will tell you where what fuse does what. Next, what on the car does not work? Look closely at the fuse box for a description of the fuse that goes there. If you do not have the hand book try a auto parts store for a manual stand there and read it till to memorize it go outside and look at you cars fuses.

Fuse box location

An Integrated Power Module (fuse panel) is located in the engine compartment near the air cleaner assembly. This center contains cartridge fuses and minifuses. A description of each fuse and component may be stamped on the inside of the cover.
