SOURCE: Drivers Power seat broken-the support metal arm-2004 Grand Cher

Should just be 4 bolts holding the seat to the floor, and unplug the wires. Only way to fix it is weld it, or get a different base from an auto wrecker.

SOURCE: Broken Bucke (safety belt)

check the recall list for auto, take it to a dealer and tell them problem, a reputable dealer will will repair without conflict. If not report problem to mazda and express this safety item is not working . good luck.

you will have to replace the complete assy. the cheapest way is look for a complete wrecking yard seat, or have yours welded at a local machine shop

Seat back won't stay up

Probably has a broken or jammed lock When you position the seat try pulling/pushing the handle instead of relying on the spring to engage the lock. If the seat frame is broken remove it for repair or replace with another seat back

I use crazy glue to put things in place
Then slide plastic water tubing from home depot over the
screw posts
Then epoxy -do all that on the inner damaged side
Takes a week to repair those type items or several

The driver's seat is broken in my Honda civic DX Coupe, how do I go about replacing it?

There's a bolt in each corner of the seat frame that goes thru the frame and into the floorboard. Remove these bolts, disconnect any wires, and pull the seat out. Same with the passenger seat if you want to put it on the driver side temporarily. The seat movement control will be on the inside though when you do this. Not a good idea, bit it can be done. Same seats, different actuator lever position.

Seat broken

Use a really good hot glue stick in a glue gun, or silicone caulk (will have to go 24hrs. w/out use) to set it back in place.

Key broken in suzuki swift 1998 ignition switch

If a fine pick won't work you could try super-glue carefully applied between the broken halves, or if the key is ferrous (steel) try a neodymium magnet (which you can find in an old hard-drive).

2001 Subaru Outback LTD; 2.5 ltr. Passenger seat heater does not work. I checked the fuses according to the manual, but can't find correct fuse. Fuse panel picture not the same as panel in car.

Both seat heaters in this car are on the same fuse and relay. If one is working and the other is not, you can assume that the fuse and relay are okay. It could either be a broken circuit in the seat heater itself or a bad switch. Most likely it is a break in the heater element. I had this problem in my 2004 forester on the driver side. after removing the upholstry cover on the seat and some careful inspection I found two broken solder joints at each thermostat in the seat heater element. A quick solder job fixed the problem. The only real difficulty on the job was that the thermostats and associated connections are sandwiched between two layers of fabric and filled with hot glue. Careful probing with the end of a soldering iron can melt the hot glue away from the areas you need access to. A quick internet search will find you some pretty good directions on how to remove the seat covers. Hope this helps.
