Need a radio code for a 2002 bmw z3

-   I have the same type and year of car,2002 BMW Z3 with the same problem. I gave dealer the serial number of the radio and the code they gave me was wrong. I called another dealer and they gave me the same 5 digit USA code. I pulled the radio and confirmed the serial number on radio. Putting the radio in service mode the radio display showes the same serial number. The dealer said that the serial number is for a Alpine radio, but this is a Blauplunkt model BP0273 with serial number 28580412 . The dealer could not help me any more than that. I asked for the 4 digit europe code but the dealer did not know how to get that. Everything worked fine until I replaced the old battery. Can anyone please help !-   Guest
