Flush system 2 times with new thermostat make sure you buy proper one. Check level and colour of coolant, and the oil. Milky is bad in oil. then flush sytem
Remove the shift lever knob. Remove the #2 console panel by prying up with a flat screwdriver to release the clips. (The #2 panel is the one that includes your cup holders) Remove the #1 console panel (the one around the shifter) by prying straight up with a flat screwdriver to release the clips. Remove the screws securing the shifter boot (gaiter) to the bottom side of the #1 console panel.

3. Bad head gasket.
4. Low coolant level.
Try to replace thermostat first , this way you illuminate thermostat and coolant level , you'll have to ad coolant after replacement and purge system.
