Gauges on the Dash went out

From one day to the next the gauges stopped working and the "service engine" light came on. I've replaced fuses hoping that it would solve the issue but hasn't. All other electronics work fine, headlights, tail lights, signals, dome, radio, A/C, just the gauges. Any suggestions?
Thanks

We had our gauges go out and you need to replace the circuit board (the gauges are all one piece and eazy to change your self) new it runs about 300-400 you can find them at a junk yard for about 75.

Speedometer

Sounds like a wiring problem. The speedo is powered on the same circuit as the gauges, and the instrument lights are on the circuit with the tail lights but with a different fuse. So you are actually talking about 3 different circuits.

Dash gauges not working. I have lost all the gauges in my dash and the cruise control. Also, the O/D off light stays on. I have lights, but no gauges, they are all bottomed out.

You really should not list your email and phone number online.

Someone will need to get a wiring diagram for the dash and check the circuits with a meter or a test light. By your husband making the instruments work by moving the fuses, it could be a problem with one of the contacts in the fuse box.

Dash board gauges not working on voyager 2000

You need to check your main fuses under the hood first and then check them under the driver side dash board.

Instrument panel went dead

Checked Every fuse in the fuse box (no small task). This includes #4 - Power point Instrument Panel, #14 - Day time running lamps (auto lamps doesn't work nor does auto lock), #27 - ignition switch run feed, #35 - Instrument Cluster, #41 - Instrument Cluster, #42 - Delayed Accessory, #45 - Ignition switch run/start feed, #102 - Door locks body security module, #103 - Ignition switch, #110 - Ignition switch, & #116 - Ignition switch. But I also check all other ones as well, they all register OK. AC panel & radio work. Turn signals work. Mileage does not work, trip computer does. So, basically, everything works except auto head-lights, auto locks, and the dash cluster (no MPH, RPM, mileage display, Fuel, Temp, Tran Temp, and Oil Pressure).

1999 Oldsmobile Alero Gauge problem

Could be lose connection on the back of the instrument cluster ,which means you would need to pull it out of the vehicle . Check pin fit to instrument cluster . for the B+ voltage suppy an ground connection's .
You said autozone - Tried to have auto zone diagnose from inside the car, came up with no codes. That's in the PCM - engine computer . There scan tool will not communicate with the instrument cluster ,which is also a computer in it's self. Need a factory scan tool to check instrument cluster.
