If the over drive is located on the shift lever on the column it should be on with no light. The only way the light comes on is if you turn it off. Over drive button is located on the end of the shift lever. Drive it down the road and count how many times it shifts it should only shift 4 times. Start 1, 2, 3, 4OD with light off and 3 times with light on.

I believe it's a transmission overdrive clutch not engaging. Likely it accelerates and up shifts fine except for the last shift into overdrive.

So the mileage may be be lower than usual on longer trips.

99 Lexus rx 300 : Replaced both KS and wiring harness, plugs and battery! P0325 circuit 1 , no overdrive! Why? Could it be a corroded terminal where the harness comes out of the manifold?

Did you replace the short wiring harness to the knock sensor, if not that is likely the cause of the issue.

I have a 99 ford f150 left blinker and hazard lights are not working. I already replaced bulbs and bought new flasher. Blinker worked for a day, stopped working again. Replaced flasher twice please help

not 100% sure but sounds like a faulty switch

97 F150 OVERDRIVE LIGHT DOES NOT COME ON BUT THE TRUCK IS SHIFTING INTO OVERDRIVE. I JUST CAN'T TURN OVERDRIVE OFF FOR TOWING.

Check your fuses. look in the owners manual if you have it. it may also be the button. the light only comes on when you take overdrive off.

My 03 f150 supercrew overdrive light wont come on, is there a fues or anything for that or do i need to replace the whole button

there is a fuse for overdrive, but im not sure its for the selector light, does the vehicle go in overdrive?? if so id say the fuse is fine and you need to replace the button.

Cannot disengage overdrive on 2003 Ford F150 4.2L

Check the Fuse for the OD function, this is cab fuse panel fuse #29, 5A.
If This fuse is blown, chances are the wires at the end of the shift lever are chaffed and causing the problem. This happens some times ( can't say why ), but it is simple enough to check and repair the wires if the insulation is chaffed.

Turn on head lights but park lights dont come on. if i slightly push in switch park lights come on. i already replaced switch

theres a loose wire behind the dash, normally the negative on f150, that why when you push it it makes the connection.
