There are two or three different points which appear to be the recharge valves for our 2006 mazda 6. which one is the correct one?
The correct one should be smaller, and your recharge hose should be only able to connect to it. the smaller fitting is the low side, and the larger fitting is the high side. recharge only to the low side. the high side is used by technicians with elaborate ac manifold guages to monitor success. these guage kits can be bought at harbor freight for about 55 dollars, and give a better recharge,as you can regulate pressure as not to overfill, which lessens the cooling

The largest diameter line is the suction which is low. The small one that runs to a coil by radiator is high pressure. If there is no cooling then you may have air in the system which means a leak must be fixed first. Are you sure the compressor is engaging? You should hear it click and the engine bog down a little.

Follow your line back from the AC pump, and look for a blue cap. About twice the size of a tire valve cap. That's your low side where you add.

follow the larger ac line of the to sizes until u come to a port it is the low side ,is the smaller port this is what u want
SOURCE: how do i tow a 2006 mazda6 behind a motorhome
You'll have to put it on a dolly. Automatic transmissions do not take kindly to being towed because they don't get lubricated. The oil pump in an automatic trans runs off the input shaft, so the engine has to be running. Hope this helps.

You can try either end,you will not damage it.My Ford has the correct intake on the left side, hood open facing engine. When you have the correct side, you should hear it taking in the coolant. If it only stays cool for a couple of days, there is a leak somewhere.
