If you follow the wires to the top of the engine from the distributor, they are under the boots when you remove them. Plugs are about 4-6" down inside.

It is a small arrow head (triangle) pointing outward. It is physically cast into the pully, and usually on the outer edge near the pully teeth. If your having trouble finding it, try cleaning the pully off with a rag.

Yes, the front pully is the belt drive and that must come off to get to seal. The radiator has to come out to take the pully off. The pully should come off easily once retaining bolt is removed. It can only go back on one way. Goood luck

Not found in American Auto Lititure found this Website seems they have 1.6l 4 Cylinder Engine and They DO have Timing BELTS I would go with Mazda for Referance on how to's

if you get a after market workshop manual for a kf/kh laser (also have mazda wiring diagrames in them).best look on ebay.the motor in the earier laser and mazdas is very similar.i am a laser /mazda fan.i own at least 3 of these cars love them..check to see if you are getting power to coil first.this would be no 1 to check.if all is okay at this point then the dissy.a good auto elect should be able to test for you.when you get a manual just follow instructions on removeing the dissy.put on top dead centre 1st before removing.this makes it easer to replace.i live in nsw
