Problem for Ford 1985 Econoline

Serpentine belt would not fit

having problem installing the serpentine belt on my 1995 Ford Econoline 150. Belt is the same size but when the tension pulley is pulled all the way back the belt would not fit.

that might be the problem. You measured this when the belt was all the way stretched out already. Try comparing the one you got to the one at a local auto parts store has for that year make and model.

did you take the old one off and size it up to match or did you go off make and model?
