check pressure it may have leaked out already, also pressure test will tell if compressor is bad or other leaks, u can put dye in system and look for leaks yourself availible in most part stores, look at front of vehicle and look at condesor and see if any obvious damage

SOURCE: front a/c is cold rear is not freon is fully

This is caused by a bad expansion valve in the rear on the evaporator. This or a bad dampener motor in the rear. You have to take apart the right rear inside molding and trim to get to everything. Be careful taking things apart try not to be rough with anything. You can also check the lines on the bottom of the car under the rear passenger side. You will see 2 aluminum lines, a large one and a small one, the large one should be very cold and the small one should be very hot. If either is the same as the outside temperature then you have a problem in the expansion valve or evaporator. I recommend replacing both of them at the same time.

SOURCE: My blower works for air/heat but only blow luke

Look for a heater control valve under the hood connected to one of the heater hoses and make sure the valve is operating properly. This is what allows the hot water to pass through your heater core. Also your heater core may have a blockage.

My 2008 toyota camry a/c blow warm at low RPM

Sounds like it's low on freon and the compressor is short cycling (cutting on and off) at low engine speeds. Let the car idle and see if the clutch on the compressor is turning or if it is on...off...on...off That should tell you if it's low or not. Good Luck

Air blows cold for awhile then blows warm for awhile all with the A/C on

Your AC system could be low on freon causing the clutch to cycle in and and out...have the pressures checked to determine the charge and if more is needed.

Have a 1999 Chevy Silverado V6. A/C is running warm. Tried to add R134, but still no change. The A/C clutch is cycling every 5 to 6 seconds. Replaced the cycle switch did not change anything. Any...

do you have gauges hooked to vehicle to read a/c pressures?? it is cycling because low side is dropping too low. this is because we aer low in freon or there is a blockage. need to be able to read pressures as just adding freon if you have a blockage can cause compressor to blow the lines off it. a blockage would most likely come from the orifice to stopped up. but if this is plugged up then we need to find out where the debris came from to block it.

1998 Town Car A/C Blows Hot Air But Is Charged Up

Hi - There may be 2 separate problems. On my 1991 Lincoln Town Car, there is a Thermal Blower Lockout sensor that disables the heater from blowing until the engine temperature reaches a specific temperature. This way if you have vent or floor settings and 90 degrees set and it is winter, you won't get blasted with cold air. When the vehicle warms up, the TBL circuit enables the climate control to blow the hot air. If you use the flr/def instead of the floor or vent control, the TBL should not prevent the heater from working even with a cold engine. On my car, the TBL went bad and always prevented hot air from blowing on the floor and vent settings, even when the engine was hot. Another thing to check is a thermal limitor resistor. It is designed to cut off the blower at very hot temperatures, except if the blower fan is in the hi setting.

As far as the A/C is concerned, can you verify if the clutch is engaging or not? A rapid cycling of the clutch is an indication of low freon. If you are absolutely sure that you are fully charged on freon, I think there are 2 possible causes: (1) Bad pressure switch on the accumulator is indicating low freon that is telling the compressor not to work; (2) a blocked orifice tube.

A/c stopped working, the clutch still engages, fan blows warm, found no fluid leaks

the air blend door inside the heating / cooling unit that sits under the dash is probably not moving. there is an electric motor and control unit that moves the air blend door (assuming you have the electric dial or push button digital controls. some of these vehicles have a valve that shuts off the antifreeze from cycling through the heater and if it remains open then you would get "not hot" but just warm air.

Trailblazer A/C clutch blows hot !

If it is cycling then its low on freon .. Try to put in one can and this will take care of your problem.. The cycling is due to being low .. The clutch is operated by a pressure switch .. when the clutch kicks in it pressures up but not enough freon will kick it back off and starts over again ... Thanks Jerry

Is the system full? Jeeps have a long history of bad evaporators. Even if the system was serviced, you could have lost the freon overnight. Compressor cycling can be because of not enough freon also.
