I have almost an identical problem with my 94 GSR Lancer, 4G93 engine. Have not yet had a chance to seriously look into it. But symptoms are similar, battery was flat, now have no spark signal or injector pulse. Handheld tester will not communicate with engine ECU.

Would appreciate a fix to this problem if anyone knows, if not I will add my fix when I have it sorted out.

04 GMC Envoy with a 4.2 I have no power at the fuel pump the relay is working could the power control module still be bad or maybe the ignition switch

I don't know what testing you have done? Battery has a full charge? When you first turn on the key, no crank, can you hear the fuel pump run a for a couple seconds? Engine cranking you have spark at the plugs and fuel injector pulse? If you missing everything have to look for rpm signal, comes from crank sensor. If you narrowed it down to only fuel, you can see the fuse for load side of relay, in under hood fuse box. The control side of relay, right side in diagram needs voltage and ground. The black wire is chassis ground. The dark green wire with white tracer is voltage, comes from computer.

My car was running. I bypassed the relay for the A/C compressor to turn on the engine stopped running.Did not start again, checked for fuse, found one blown, Put fuse in, blew that fuse too.

I can't tell what you've done? Where is the fuse located, under the hood--interior fuse box? What is the fuse amp rating and what does it control?
If it cranks good but won't start, make sure the battery has a full charge, have a helper crank it, while you check for spark at the spark plugs, if spark everywhere, check fuel injector pulse.
What about your security system?

2001 dodge intrepid no spark and no injector pulse 2.7 engine

Check the ASD relay , auto shut down relay in the under hood fuse / relay box . The ASD relay supplies B+ voltage to the injectors an ignition coils plus other thing's ! This may be you device voltage code problem as well as the other codes

1 fuel injector does not recieve pulse or signal

I would suggest getting a wiring diagram and tracing the wires from the dead injector to the computer box. If you are still not receiving the pulse at the computer box, then I would fault the ECU.

In saying this, it is not usual to have one cylinder loose spark or pulse as most systems work two cylinders in tandem. With this in mind I'm hoping for your sake that you find a break in the wiring and have a cheap repair!

1998 ck2a lancer 4g15 no go. have replaced dizzy, computer and tps. has spark and injector pulse and timing is fine. any help appreciated

the next thing to check is the fuel system.
is there fuel in the system, the tank, fuel lines. is there fuel pressure at the injectors? check the fuel pump electrical system, the fuse, fuel pump relay, fuel cut off circuit. some factory security system have a fuel inhibitor, that disable the fuel pump circuit!

The engine indicator on the dash wont stay lit before the start of the car, the engine turnsover but doesnt start

There is no simple answer, there are to many variables. If you have access to a scan tool, pulling the codes should help. Without them its back to old school hunt and peck method. At this point we need to narrow down the problem. You need to test for spark.
  1. Tag and disconnect the spark plug wires from the spark plugs.
  2. Remove the spark plugs and install the spark plug wires to each spark plug.
  3. Ground (do not hold spark plug) the spark plug; check if spark occurs while engine is being cranked.
Crank the engine for no more than 2 seconds at a time to prevent flooding the engine with gasoline.
If you have spark, You will want to make sure you have fuel injector pulse, along with fuel pressure. If you have spark ..simply spray some starting fluid in through the air filter and hold the gas pedal to the floor and crank it over while spraying. If it fires up, you know it is fuel related( fuel pump, regulator, or ECM if no injector pulse) . If you have no spark then look at ignition coil connection and trace through to the distributor( if equipped ). The crank shaft sensor has a tendency to fail on these as well. This should give you a few things to test and check to start you on your way to narrowing it down. If you have no spark then look at ignition coil connection for power and trace through to the distributor( if equipped ). If it is DIS( no distributor). It may be the Crank sensor or the ECU. The crank shaft sensor has a tendency to fail on these as well.
The ECU uses the signal sent from the Crank sensor to trigger the spark and fuel injectors. ( make certain you have checked all fuses)

If you remove the fuel line and crank the engine and get fuel then you could be assured that the crank sensor works but if there is no fuel while cranking then the crank sensor is most likely the fault. If the crank sensor is not the problem then it is most likely in the coil or distributor which the 97 is notorious for.
