All my fluids are good. I'll drive the car and usually about the ten mile mark the oil pressure will drop and if I'm at a stop the car will die. The drop is gradual and my oil is full. After about 20 minutes I can restart the car but won't be able to get it far before it shuts down again. The gauges say the car doesn't overheat, just the oil pressure continues to drop the longer I drive and the more I stop the more likely the car is to die.
You are most likely in a state of partial seizure. I would take that car to a pro quick as your oil pump sounds like its failing and causing the car to lock up and die. Sorry to say but by the sound of it you are going to be in the market for a new motor or a car very soon.
If the oil pressure light ever comes on while you are at speed, the damage has already been done.

Have the oil pressure tested with an accurate mechanical gauge. often the sending unit goes bad, but without testing it could cost you an engine before you find the problem.
If the mechanical gauge shows same low readings, you have internal engine wear (likely worn crank/rod bearings) Then, it's your decision on whether to drive it till it expires, repair it or buy a new vehicle.

The oil pressure sending unit has gone bad. I sending unit is just above the oil filter and you can get to it from the top. When you face the Engine look down towards the oil filter, the oil pressure sending unit is just above that and it looks like a cylinder with two wires coming from it. If you don't see it, it's right between the exhaust manifold and oil filter.
If you go to Auto Zone or Parts Source, they'll have the oil pressure sending unit and the step by step instructions, When installing the new sensor. Do not use teflon tape or any sealant, the sensor is tapered and need's the good ground from the engine to give you right readings.
Good luck and hope this helps.

one thing you can try is to get one of those magnetic pick up tools at a parts store.......prefferably one with a large magnet...and put a cloth around the end of it so you dont scratch the plastic on you gauges and try to pull it back to where it belongs,i have done this a few times with good results, hope this helps
