This should be straightforward but I cannot find it. I have removed the plastic guard under the washer reservoir ( this is where the garage told me to look! ). I can see the water pipes leading out of the reservoir but cannot see where they go. I assume the pump is elsewhere under the bonnet. Unfortunately I cannot safely get right under the car.I chose the Accent model because a Coupe is not listed.

I have more wiper circuit trouble. Fuse keeps blowing. The problem has been intermittent for almost a year, so it has been difficult to get a diagnosis. I first suspected the most obvious problem, the wiper motor. I removed it, intending to buy a new one, but the fuse blew when the motor wasn't even in. I removed the washer pump next, but the fuse still blew. I tried removing the relay, and it still blew. I tried disconnecting the switch on the steering column, and it still blew. Those are all the components in the circuit as far as I know, so I assumed a short somewhere in the wiring. The problem was the intermittent nature of the short. Well now it has finally stopped being intermittent, and has become constant. The fuse blows now whenever I turn the key to on. I don't have a short circuit detector, but I do have a multimeter. I would like some advice on how to proceed with finding the short.

Still having problem with wiper fuse blowing. The good news is it is not intermittent anymore. The fuse blows as soon as the ignition circuit engages. if I try to replace the fuse while ignition is set to on, it blows right there in my hand. Any ideas on how to proceed?
