Charade Engine running hot

1986 Turbo Charade.. the engine temperature needle goes hot or sometimes temperature needle stays normal.Recently changed the GASKIT cause of this problem. Radiator is all good....

u might have a sticky thermostat try takin it out and boil a pot of hot water and place it in if it stays closed or open and doesnt move it needs to be replaced
