I need to access the climate control cable to see if it broke. The car is only blowing hot air. The A/C compressor is good and has refridgerant and the fuse is good. Please help.
Climate control is control by a controller or computer which read inside car temperature sensor and ambient sensor.best have vechicle check at garage you need diagnostic equipment to trouble shoot climate control.many things cause climate control problems. could have faulty temperature blend door actuator or bad sensor.
Testimonial: "Jonah...thanks alot for the tip. I did find that the blend door actuator motor was at fault. The plastic gearing inside had gotten all chewed up. I have AC now!!"
SOURCE: the air conditioning compressor will not engage
did you reseet the vent positions?. It could happen but its a long shot the system has lost its charge and the safety switch is keeping the compressor from running, or the safety sw itself is bad.

The "O" rings could be bad thus allowing all the new freon to leak out again. This happened to us.
SOURCE: Hi, my air conditioner was working fine, blowing
Sounds like your blower motor when out, check voltage at the blower motor connector under the dash passenger side under dash, with key and blower on, if you have voltage blower motor out, also tap on it some time it will turn it on, but if it happens again you will have to replace it.

Hello
This problem is most likely related to either a blend door problem or a possibly stuck expansion valve problem. In order to help further I need some information, what was the AC compressors low side and high side pressure readings (they are in PSI) and I also need the Year and Model of the car.
SOURCE: I have a 2005 Hyundai Thiburon GT. Just recently
Possible short, but I would suspect the a/c clutch coil. Hope this helps you, TJ
Testimonial: "He hit it. Only two problem that could be going on: either it has a short or the AC clutch coil. Short is not the problem. "
