How do you tell if crankcase vent valve is bad?
I remove the breather cap off of my valve cover and it is blowing alot of air. It starts running rough! Put it back and it starts running somewhat smooth again. It did this before i had the head rebuilt and is still doing it!!! its a 1.9 4cyl.

well it supose to blow air because your motor is moving at probley 6 or 7 hundred rmps but the resone it runs rough is because your losing compression when you open the cap but i would check your pvc valves and maybe have it pressure tested.
