Bank 1 system to lean below threshold that's telling you the system is lean... If you done all that other work including intake manifold gasket n new injector o rings, and your car hesitates n has CEL on, but no vacuum leaks at all it's telling you that you need the rear o2 oxygen sensor, try that n let me know if the CEL goes away. I did my intake mago ls gaskets cuz it needed them, it had a leak n new injector o rings after I replaced that my car ran a whole lot better but the light was still in and my car hesitates n loss power changed the o2 rear sensor car is driving like a 2012 malibu hell yeah!!!140$ in require parts that are nessasery = new car all over again. Let me know if helpful or if you need more help.

Depending on the amount of miles, maintenance records, or how hard the car has been driven either by a previous owner, or by yourself. The engine's main crankshaft bearings or the connecting-rod bearings could be excessively worn.

Also, it could very well be a wiring problem to the sensor and/or computer causing the problem.

SOURCE: PO420 CODE ON CHEVY S10

Hi

The code means---

Catalyst Efficiency
Below Threshold
(Bank 1)

Please make sure there is no air entering the engine behind the maf, such as a vacuum leak or leaks in ducting between the maf and the throttle body.

If that's no the case then its an issue with injectors clogging and they are not working due to "fretting". This "fretting" is electrical terminals to injectors getting oxidation on them and is fixed by unplugging them and replugging them in. The fix is to put a small dab of die-electric grease on the terminals.

I would suggest an injector service with the new GM procedure using "Top Engine Cleaner". This may be all you need but that P0420 bothers me. P0420, Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold, can be set by a poor connection at the PCM or a damaged wiring harness.

Please rate this soluton as FixYa if found useful.

Thanks
Rylee

Have you checked for vaccume leaks?
You've got lots of parts in there, Has the problem been the reason you have replaced all of those, or did it come up while doing some of the repairs?

SOURCE: 1993 Chevy S10 Blazer engine hesitation with smoke from exhaust

Had a 94 Olds Bravada that did a similar thing and it was EGR valve on the front of the intake. It' s easy to take off and clean with WD 40 and if you have an air compressor blow it out good.

I have a 2002 chevy Silverado 1500. I have a obd2 scanner but its not completely readable but i can see it pulls the code p0433 twice? Why does it pull it twice and hpw do i fix this?

It shows the code two time's because one is a history code an the other is a pending code. Suggest you google OBD 2 pending an history code's .Associated with each DTC - diagnostic trouble code are diagnostic step's to test the electrical circuit's of that sensor an the sensor or componet the code is for .

DTC P0443
Circuit Description
An ignition voltage is supplied directly to the evaporative emission (EVAP) canister purge valve. The EVAP canister purge valve is pulse width modulated (PWM). The scan tool displays the amount of ON time as a percentage. The control module monitors the status of the driver. The control module controls the EVAP canister purge valve ON time by grounding the control circuit via an internal switch called a driver. If the control module detects an incorrect voltage for the commanded state of the driver, this DTC sets.

Start and idle the engine.
Command the vent valve ON, closed, with a scan tool.
Monitor the fuel tank pressure (FTP) sensor value with the scan tool.
Command the purge valve to 50 percent.
Does the FTP value on the scan tool change?

Your best bet , take your vehicle to a qualified repair shop .
