I had the same problem, started about 150K miles. It had nothing to do with the fan motor or the switch. my problem was under the fuse box. it was shorting out and i couldn't figure out how to get the wire out or wedge it in to where it would hold, so i got an external inline fuse and bypassed fuse box. when doing that it bypassed the relay as well. by hey, the fan blower works now.

This may sound severe but remove the wheel and hit the hub with a hammer.Once released investigate the cause.

CHECK AC COMPRESSOR CLUTCH FUSE AND RELAY.MAKE SURE POWER IS GOING TO COMPRESSOR CONNECTOR.IF NO CHECK FUSE AND RELAY.IF YES.YOUR PROBLEM COULD BE AC CONTROL SWITCH BAD OR BLOWER MOTOR.COMPRESSOR CLUTCH SHORTED OR OPEN.AC PRESSURE SENSOR BAD OR REFRIGERANT IS LOW.

there is a bypass switch.. it is on the right side of the shift lever, close to the ash tray. slide it up.. twards the ash tray, and then shift outa park.
