These are usually a combination of Velcro, screws and snap latches. The screws have concealment caps that can be removed with a small screwdriver. The other place is under the rubber liner mats for the "catch all" area and in the bottom of the storage compartment itself. If you have any lighters, ashtrays or power points you will have to remove those first as well. Small screws usually hold those in.
you will have to remove the seat, completely dissasemble the seat frame from underneath, its alot of stuff to remove, all the lumbar switch cover on the drivers seat also, check also to make sure if you have heated seats that it isnt shorted out around the plug area
If the van has a cup holder on the doghouse you should not have to remove it to get doghouse out. There are 2 latches on the sides of the dog house, one on driver side and one on passenger side about halfway between the floor and the dash, un hook these. Pull the carpet back from around the bottom of the dog house, there will be 2 clips held down with bolts, remove these. The doghouse should slide back, and out from under the dash, it might be necessary to remove the passenger seat to get the house out of the vehicle.
The armrests have covers that can be removed. Locate the zipper on the arm rest. Once you unzip it pull it toward the back of the arm rest and this will expose the one bolt that hold the armrest on. You will need a large torx and rachet to get it off. Once you take out that bolt the armrest will come right off.
There are usually a combination of 4 nut/bolts per seat. You'll need a T55 or T50 torque bit and an 18mm deep socket to remove these. To access them slide the seat to the extreme front and rear. Once all nuts/bolts are removed tilt seat back and undo wiring harness from underneath. You have to remove both driver and front passenger seat to remove the centre console /middle seat.
the blower resistor for the 93 gmc vandura is > if you look under the hood , passenger side firewall , the blower motor is the and also will be the resistor in that housing , it had 2 screws holding it in .
HIYA!
All Equinoxes has yellow coloured wire harness to identify this as a air-bag system.
This yellow coloured wire 'system network' has connections in some areas...one is located at the front passenger's floor area close to the door (right-side corner area, just remove screw or clip and plastic trim part to gain access to see yellow wire there-it has socket plug connected with red clip-string to secure it) and another yellow wire is found between the front seats-you need to remove armrest, center console area and possible remove the front passenger seat to see yellow wire connect to black device underneath carpet in the middle.
Check to ensure the yellow wire sockets are plugged in properly, and not accidently cut or pulled off during your underseat repair.
In case your Equinox has roof side air-bag option, the yellow wire/sensor are located below the front seatbelt device inside the lower pillar frame area. (it's between the doors)
Hope this help you solve your repair task.
