I have a 2005 honda civic,i was in the process of putting in a new radio and blew a fuse by one of the positive wires touching another, so i found the fuse labeled "radio" underneath the steering wheel and replaced it. Radio still didnt work so i plugged the old radio back into it and that radio doesn't work either now.
There are 3 power sources to radio. if stock, if not stock more.
Radio power.
memory power
and dial lamp power. (dimmer)
why not use a voltmeter to find out why its dead.
even better the FSM shows the wires, the colors and the path.
making guessing go to zero.
when working electrics pull battery minus lug, like the FSM directs you.
and keys in pocket. causing load dumps can cause very expensive
electronics to fail. even the EFI, PCM.

THE RADIO MOST LIKELY IS THE PROBLEM, WITHOUT THE REPAIR MANUALS IT WOULD BE VERY HARD TO REPAIR (man. not availiable to the public), YOUR BEST BET IS TO FIND A FORD AUTHORIZED REPAIR SHOP, THEY ARE ON THE NET, THE OTHER BUY A USED UNIT ON EBAY, THE LAST IS THE BEST OPTION, I HAVE DONE THIS ON SEVERAL CARS AND WORKED OUT GREAT, LESS THAN $100 FOR A USED UNIT.

look under the cover.. white label should say radio back up 15 amp

it should be printed on the inside lid of the two fuse boxes...also it's printed in the owners manual.

If you run a wire from the battery make sure you use a inline fuse.
Testimonial: "I wanted to know if there is a fuse first, but thanks for the advice."
