1st check the knob. Just pull it out and make sure the know is not broken or cracked. then check the heat valve under the hood and check to make sure the cable didnt caome off
did you by the car second hand? has it been modified in any way (Rims, lowered, intake)?
If so, there's a chance that the heater hose was bypassed. You can take it any good mechanic and have them order the right parts and get the heater working again.
Very easy fix. Check to see your thermostat is working properly and that there is a thermostat int he housing. Sometimes folks take them out to run cooler but it defeats heating purpose for cabin in cold weather. If the thermostat is good, the try the next. Buy a heater bypass valve and have it replaced. The bypass valve could be stuck in cold position. The bypass valve is located in the engine bay behind the engine on the firewall below the throttle body. Check to see that the cable is not disconnected, and if it is, place it back in the correct location of the bypass valve.
There is a blower motor resister in the blower box it is pretty often you see this part go bad it's a easy fix with just a couple of screws. You will find this in the blower box on the pass side under the glove box .Hope this helps!!
