When I start the car it starts just fine, but the moment I push the accelerator it jerks around for a bit then smooths out. Also when I push the brake I really have to apply pressure which should not be a problem as I just had the brake line repaired.
Does it make a hissing noise when you push on the break peddel? or do you hear what sounds like a whiseling noise when its at idle? thats all signs of a vacume leak, it sounds me to be a bad vacume booster Witch will acount for you having to push hard on the break peddel, and it running bad when you step on the gas.

No hissing noises or whistling....I have recently had the Water pump replaced, 3 new motor mounts, and brake line repaired (but still not working right). I will have the booster looked at when i bring it in for speedometer work too...My speed sensor went out.
