The car would not turn over, no current to the switch
Firewall is the wall behind the motor seperating you from the motor and the inside of the car.

Check to make sure that the purple wire is hooked up to the S terminal on the starter solenoid.

The engine fan switch is located in the right side cylinder head between the spark plugs. There are two different sizes that you might find installed, 5/16 or 9/16 inch threads.

You will have to remove the lower dash panels to get to it.

The turn signal flasher is mounted to the right of the steering column, under the dash.
Here is a diagram to help you.
