I have a 1999 Kia Sephia that has an electrical drain somewhere on the car that I can not find. I checked the battery, alternator and the starter, all are fine. I go to start the car and lights do not even come on. I took it to a mechanic that told me to keep using it everyday or it would die. Due to other problems with the car I couldn't, now the car is dead. I am wondering if it isn't the ignition itself.

until the problem is found,u can unplug a batt. cable when car is parked,it will keep batt.from drainning, every time batt. drains it shorthens batt.life.your problem can just be a light that stays on like trunk light, underhood light, inside car lights, was there something new install in car like radio, amp.before this started?
