Headlight assembly instructions

I hit a deer and it busted my headlight assembly, I have a new one but was wondering what I need to do to install it, the whole assemble including the mount.

    Basically when I hit the deer the plastic cover or housing that holds the bulb broke completely off the the mount so I ordered the whole assemble and the mount. I'm not sure how to remove the mount, or should I say I'm afraid that I am going to brake something else removing it. I'm familiar with pulling the turning signal part out of the clip and changing the bulb, so I do know how to get to it. I saw a picture of the mount part somewhere and now can't find it again.

Should be as follows, First remove the plastic cover that goes from one side to the other. It has like 10 pop clips in it. Easiest way to get these out is to take a pair of end nippers and pull the center out then pull out the piece left there. This will make sure they are reusable. After thats out then there are two bolts, I think they are 12mm if I remimber right, They hold the headlight asembly in. After they are out then just give the assembly a good pop and release the metal clip that holds the bottom side of the assembly and the whole thing pops right out. Then twist and remove the bulb and your set to put the new one in in reverse order of course.

Damaged grill and driver's side headlight assembly completely missing

Yeh, but who won?? All you need is an eye patch and dental work. Poor deer.
If you have the time and inclination, a trip or two or 3 to a salvage yard could get you all the parts to renew it, and save you a lot of money that a body shop would charge.

How do I replace the headlight assembly MN133516

The 2003 Outlander utilizes replaceable (9007) headlight bulbs. If you're looking to replace the bulb(s);
1. Raise the hood.
2. Remove the plastic cover at the rear of the headlamp assembly by rotating it counterclockwise, and pulling it off. This will allow access to the headlight bulb.
3. Twist the bulb socket counterclockwise in order to remove it from the headlamp assembly. Pull the old bulb out of the socket, and use a clean cloth to install the replacement bulb. Do not touch the glass of the new bulb.
4. Place the socket back into the assembly, and twist it clockwise. Reattach the plastic cover, and close the hood.
Are you needing DIY instructions for replacing the entire headlamp assembly? Left (driver) or Right (passenger)?

I need to remove old broken passenger side headlight assembly and install new assembly in my 2004 Chevy Colorado crew cab. I need step by step instructions on how to do this myself.

I am not sure about the Colorado, but most vehicles about that age have a plastic clip. If you open the hood it is near the back of the headlight area and pulls straight up. You should be able to take these two clips off and the headlight will go straight forward, you can then twist the bulb holders out of the headlight assembly. Reverse procedure to install. Please rate my answer so I an awarded points for it.
