SERVICE ENGINE LIGHT

Before you take your car to the shop to spend all your money try to disconnect your battery first for about 5 minutes and then reconnect and see what it will do. If you own a computer, sometimes you have to reboot your computer to work better, kind of the same thing with cars. try it first it might save you a lot of money.

When the service engine light is on. The service engine light checks all the sensor in the vehicle with the engine running . The light will come on when any of the sensor are not responding to the computer in the car. The computer is monitoring the sensor constantly to give the engine the best performance in all kinds of driving conditions. The engine will have to go to a repair shop . The repair shop will try and get codes out of the computer to pin point the sensor failure or engine performance failure.

So in conclusion , I would take the vehicle to a local mechanic that can give you a warranty of at least 6 months 6 thousand miles.
