What is this plastic cord hanging from underneath the front of my car?

There is a plastic cord hanging down near the front of my car, almost near the front lights. It's been dragging on the ground so I've been pushing it back up so it doesn't drag anymore and get damaged. There is some sort of "plug" at the end and I'm wondering if something came unplugged. However, I have no idea where it would plug in to or if it plugs into something. The "plug" looking part seems to be made out of plastic.

If everything is in working order, then it is most likely a fog light harness plug for fog lights ,that where not an option on your car,the harness has just came loose from what held it up and secure.

Testimonial: "Yes, everything seems to be working just fine so that may be the solution. Thank you! "

SOURCE: BIG PLASTIC PART FELL FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY CAR

Probably the engine undertray, not a vital part, but as you clearly don't know what it is then you also aren't qualified to investigate or remedy this any further. It could also be a wheel arch liner.

If you've had the car recently serviced then take the car back to complain, as the undertray wasn't correctly refitted. It does serve a protective purpose and improve aerodynamics, so it's a good idea to get a garage to replace it. if damaged they can either order a new one or get a cheaper used one from the wrecking yard.

Replace the mounting bolts. You should be able to find them in any pep boys, napa, etc.

Loose ground wire

It may be for factory fog/driving lights or second horn etc. that are not part of your vehicle's specific accessory package. Car manufacturers sometimes use a "one size fits all" wiring harness to shorten manufacturing time and reduce "special" wiring harness parts stocks. These harnesses have plugs and wires in them that don't attach to things your car isn't equipped with but would in other cars that have other "extras" yours doesn't. Also it could be the outside air temperature sensor which quite a few manufactures mount out in that area. The best option is to use some plastic tye-wraps and secure it up inside the body. Attaching it to other parts of the wiring harness is best so it doesn't accidentally rub against a metal frame part and short out later.

Whenever I go down the road at 35miles per hour you can hear a noise from the front driver side tire. Like a flapping noise? and you can also hear it near the steering wheel inside.

check to see if theres something hitting the wheel, or if there something in the tire, most of the time its a plastic cover that hits the tire, check for any loose or hanging plastic.

One side of front bumper cover is hanging down on my 98 handa

You should remove the bumper cover and take a look and make sure that the cover is not broken, its all plastic and the hold down arms sometimes break off and bumper will hang, also look for missing or loose fastners,

Replace a crank shaft sensor in a 2002 caddallc

There are two crankshaft sensors located Center front of the engine, near the base of the engine oil dipstick tube.
Access is from underneath the car.
You will need to remove the plastic splash guard.
The sensors are held in by one bolt each.

Something hanging from underneath car. Looks vee shaped with two points kinda like a pitch fork.

Didn't get anymore info from u, it must be the damper fork, and if it's hanging down, it would be right behind one of the front wheels. Something is seriously wrong if that's the case, as it means bolts that secure it have broken or fallen out. countrycurt0
