I'm wondering if this is an electrical problem...these cars are bad for the window regulators to fail. Do any of the other windows work? If this is the drivers window, do any of the other windows work from the drivers switch? While pressing the window switch place your ear against the door panel, do you hear clicking, humming or any sounds that indicate the motor is trying to move but may be jambed. if the answer is yes to any of these questions, then most likely it's a failed window regulator.
