fold top seat down first
then there is seat clip push seat forward with upward motion
this releases back floor clamps once released pull seat back this releases the front clamps then pull seat out of back door

If the fluid is up -
it could be a vacume loss or the shifting module..
The shifting module is what tells it to shift - and it is controled by vacume pressure..

How to check transmission fluid on my 2000 Isuzu


Transmission fluid level get's check from the transmission pan. there is two drain plug's on the transmission pan, the lower one is to drain fluid and the up most one on the pan is to check level, with engine running remove the up most plug if transmission fluid start to come out it's ok.

How do you remove the heater core in a 1996 Isuzu Trooper


STEPS TO REMOVE HEATER CORE IN 1996 ISUZU TROOPER
  1. Remove battery cables.
  2. You have to remove the upper dash pad on this paticular year model. with a 10 mm socket and a 1/2 inch extension remove the 5 retaining bolts. Remove the blower assembly under the passenger side of dash.
  3. Remove passenger side seat and center counsole.
  4. Drain radiator.
  5. Disconnect hoses from now exposed heater core.
  6. Turn it 180 degrees and slide out.
  7. Replace in reverse order.

Bad starter?


Hi , if you have the 3.0 diesel it down at the bottom of the dipstick tube facing the trunk.
You have to take off the tube to get it out easy .

If its the petrol V6 same place but no tube ,thats bottom rear right of the the engine looking from the front of the car.

Nut on rear axle,replacing seal


You force the nut of, and re-install with a new nut, or if still o.k use a puch to simulate the crimp, it is for locking the nut!

must remove clips from inside front axle housing!! If the cv joint aint broke DONT FIX IT the boots can be replaced in less than 1 hour with hand tools and the boot is around 20$ at any parts store

How to install fuel filter on 2000 trooper


First: Take the keys out of the ignition and put them in your pocket. Block the wheels so they won't move.

The filter is located on the frame just in front of the right rear wheel. Slide under from the other side and soak the fittings with penetrating oil. Loosen the fittings (may be under pressure!) the gas will drip out, Remove the bolt holding the filter to the frame, remove and replace the filter..
