SOURCE: AC Low Pressure location on 2004 Chevy Suburban

You find the AC low pressure at the top of the compressor, orientated toward you , facing the front of the vehicle. You can also follow the compressor line to reach the port.

The valve is covered a plastic cap covering it.
Near the compressor you find two ports, the high port and low port.

To find out which one is the low port, run the air conditioner for a couple of minutes withthe engine on.
Then turn off the care and touch the lines from compressor to the two ports covered with plastic caps. Only one of the pipes will be cold, the cold line will lead you to the low port.

It may be located on/near the evaporator case where the big (suction) line comes out.

Valve is between accumulator and evaporator on the passenger side. Your van originally came with R-12 freon, so you will need to verify that it has been converted to R-134 before adding freon. The different gasses (and especially the lubricating oils) do not mix well.

SOURCE: 1992 gmc c1500 ac compressor relay location

I pulled this from another web site
"The AC clutch relay is located inside the cab on a metal bracket that is easiest to see when you remove the glove box compartment.

The relay is on a metal bracket bolted to the top of the plastic air box, forward and to the center of the dash from glove box.

There are three relays in a row on that bracket. The AC clutch relay is the end one closest to the driver’s side."

2012 ac f150 xlt ford ac blowes cold when you first run it.but if you stop for a few minets and restart ac blows hot air like heater is on. just started it about year people said bring in .

You are leaking Freon from one of the pressure hoses. You either need a charge or new hose replacement. You can look into this yourself, but with all the problems Ford has had with exhaust leaking back into the passenger compartment and killing people, you may want to call them and ask if it is covered.

What could be the possible cause of an A/C compressor not disengaging on my 97 F150?

check that the thermostat in the evaporator box is working as it controls the ac clutch action. If it is not functioning correctly (or the relay that it controls is faulty) then it will continually read hot air and not cabin temperature.

A/c Compressor clutch issues (electrical)

Assuming you have the system adequately pressurized with gas, check out the low pressure cut off switch. If it is in the open position no current will reach the clutch windings and the compressor will not operate.

I have a 1996 ford f150 XL.. I am having a/c issues. I just replaced the drier, orifice tube, flushed the system, put new oil in, and r134a. The clutch will not engage, i have power at low and high...

I assume that you have not been able to properly charge this A/C? If not, use a cotter pin to short the terminals on the low pressure switch. Charge it to the proper pressures. Remove the cotter pin and reconnect the low pressure switch.

Ac relay not energizing on 2005 ford freestar

The very 1st thing you do is see if the AC system has lost its charge of refrigerant. If the system is low on charge then the relay will not engage because it receives no signal from Compressor cycling switch which in most Fords is located in the low side AC line from the compressor, the low pressure line is the larger of the 2 lines from the AC compressor..

2005 Ford f 150 AC blowing hot air compressor not coming on. What should I cheek first.

The first thing to check is the pressures in the ac system. If it is too low on R134 the low pressure switch will prevent the compressor from turning on.
