SOURCE: vw polo car wont start

try disconecting the coolant temp sensor and then try, it may be faulty, also check the hall sender unit in the distributor, if it has one, the centre pin should be the signal wire if no pulse is present the sensor is faulty

Vw polo will not start in morning , if i leave it for 15/20 mins will start and keep starting all day ,, then same thing next morning HELP

Tommorrow try turning the key on 2 or 3 times and then starting it. If it starts right away then the check valve in the tank is bad or the fuel pressure regulator on the fuel rail/engine is bad. Both will let the fuel run back in to the tank.

VW POLO 1.9CL Diesel 1997 wont start

hi from uk check the main lead from battery+positive to the starters solenoid is secure ? also there is a thin wire that also connects to solenoid on a terminal of its own this is the solenoid energizing wire that works starter when key start position is selected if all above is ok? then use a jump lead and connect one end to battery negative post then the other end of lead to a suitable earth point on engine ? then try starting? if it works/starts ? you have a bad earth connection to engine from battery negative lead check the earth lead connection at point on engine is clean/secure ? it usually is secured by bolt at point where engine and transmission connect ? hope this helps?

Vw polo electrical problem

the starting issue is probally down to the throttle housing being al carboned up.take it of and get it spotless,a toothbrush and some solvent is good.make sure you clean around where the butterly sits and the edges of the butterfly itself, dont just look from the top and think its looks ok take it off.
