I have a 1983 Toyota supra, and when I try to start it, it turns over but will not start. There is spark from in the plugs, wires and at the distributor so i dont know why it wont start.

Do you have normal fuel pressure at the injectors, and are the injectors getting power and ground signals ?

i know that if ur car died it most likely has something to do with the alternator or the process in which the fuel gets to the spark

SOURCE: Replacement of Spark Plug leads, Distributor cap, rotor for T100

I reccommend putting WD40 or CRC on the connections to stop them corroding over time. You also want to make sure the Distributor Cap gasket seals well to keep out water. last make sure you don't get the leads mixed up, best to replace them one at a time. cheers

Check the coil, the distributor, points (if it has points - not sure if that one's electronic or not), cap, rotor. Check the voltage going to the coil when the key is turned to "on", and again when the key is turned to "start".

I think it's a problem with the radio itself. The antenna only responds when the radio is turned on / off. So the antenna sounds like it's working properly.

It could be the throttle position sensor, this is a small electronic part that goes bad on pretty much every fuel-injected car eventually. I think it's located on the throttle body itself.
