Question about 2001 Kia Sephia
This diagnostic trouble code (DTC) simply means that the switch that turns your overdrive on and off with has a problem. This also includes the light as well that comes on and off sepending is overdrive is on or off. The most common cause is the switch itself. The other common cause would be an open or shorted ground for that switch/circuit). Not saying just go out and buy a new switch because there should be some testing to fully diagnose the problem in order to purchase only what you need but I would say through experience with these vehicles i would say you have about a 90 - 95 percent chance that tha's the problem. Hope this helps you....
