When i step on accelerator the car makes a very noisy sound. When i take my foot of the accelerator then no noise

I DO NOT KNOW WHAT NOISE IT DOES BUT I SAY THAT WHEN ACCELERATING YOU ARE GIVING HIGH REVS SO THE NOISE YOU MIGHT HAVE IS EITHER ANY BELT (S) ALTERNATOR,AIR CONDITIONING OR POWER STEERING. MIGHT NEED RENEWING THE BELTS OR ARE LOOSE AND NEED TIGHTENING. ALSO THERE IS ANOTHER POSSIBILITY : MIGHT AN ENGINE MOUNTING BROKEN AND ON ACCELERATING THE ENGINE MOVES ON THE MOUNTING AND POSSIBLE TOUCHING SOME METAL PART.

2002 isuzu trooper looses power on climbing, not responding to acceleration

Is the transmission dropping down to lower gear when climbing ? (automatic only ) Will it accelerate good to pass on level road?
Proper fuel pressure, and possible exhaust restriction, such as partially plugged/plugged catalytic converter, are 2 things I would check as well. All provided engine is also in good shape to begin with.

What's your problem? Exhaust overheating and engin looses power.

check the converter by having someone hold the gas down while you feel the flow out of the tailpipe it will get to a point and decrease it should push more with the acceleration if it dont change the catilatic converter

Not accelerating and letting white smoke out exhaust

it sounds like the engine coolant is leaking into the combustion chambers most likely due to a leaky head gasket or a cracked cylinder head and will cause loose of power in acceleration

Momentarily Sluggish Acceleration

Are you loosing power to the ecu when the car is shut down? most cars with an ECU that controls timing, fuel, or boost can be forced to relearn the car if the ECU looses power (called a "limp" mode). I'd look into this. Also are you getting any check engine lights? considering the description of the problem, this would help to diagnose. Try getting the car started and running normally, then turn the car off but do not kill the power to the car, just stop the motor from running...Fire the engine back up and try to give the car a good stomp on the gas and see if you get the same sluggish problems...my 2 cents... Good luck future auto DIY's
