I don't know of an Eldorado that uses a belt. They use a timing chain.
Cars that use a belt will not run when the belt breaks.

After changing the water pump and timing belt on a 2005 Chrysler Pacifica 3.5 the engine will idle but surges when I accelerate. There is no codes being shown.

i'd advise rechecking the timing belt positioning again , surging can be a symptom of timing being out and i would'nt expect any codes if its the belt timing, as is set up manually and not monitored by the PCM

Timing belt hydrolic

Your belt will need to be changed again at roughly 150000 miles.Whenever replacing components that relate to timing you should do them all at the same time. it is a difficult and time consuming job to get to the timing gear so for the sake of just changing the hydraulic tensioner and paying to get the belt changed again within a short period of time. its smarter to get it all done at once, and not pay someone to do the job twice. if you do it all now, you can wait another 60000 miles to get it done rather than doing just the hydraulic and then having to do it all again in only 20000 miles.Hope that helps.

Honda Accord 2002 Engine does not start but makes like fireworks noise. It's a backfire problem. Battery is ok.

I would check the cam timing. I would suspect the timing belt may have gone bad. The symptoms you are having are common when you have a timing belt go bad. The only other thing that will give these symptoms is failure of certain ignition system components.

Symptoms a 1991 acura legend water pump is failing?

The water pump on your vehicle is ran by the timing belt. The timing belt will have to be removed to change the water pump. You have a engine that is classified as interference witch means that it will bend the valves if the timing belt goes out.I would recomend that while you are doing the water pump you should change the timing belt to be on the safe side.

I would like to set the timing but can't seem to locate the distributor. Where is it located? Do you even set the timing on this car? I can't even locate the numbers by the timing belt to even set the...

Generally speaking for any cars it's relatively obvious to find out the distributor cap by following the path from any spark plug wire form the plug to its origin.

In your specific case I expect that you doesn't have traditional distribution cap meaning that you can't adjust the timing this task being assumed automatically by your vehicule PCM.

In any ways you will adjust the timing by the timing belt positionning unless the belt is bad and jumped. If it's the situation the belt has to be replaced and a new one installed with the proper cam and crank synchro.

Why would you like to set your timing? Is your check engine light turned on?

When should timing belt be changed on hyundai accent, also what are indications that it is going bad

Hyundai recommends changing the timing belt every 60K miles. As far as symptoms go, a timing belt won't give a lot of warming prior to breaking but a few would be extremely rough idling and misfiring. You should know that a broken timing belt often will do damage to the engine. I hope you find this answers your question. All the best!

Hesitation and backfiring

sounds like maybe you have some trash in your fuel tank. Try changing the fuel filter and cleaning the carb. If the problem persists, you may have to drop the fuel tank and have it cleaned out.
