Anti-Lock ControlPinpoint TestsPinpoint Test F: DTC C1266Refer to Wiring Diagram Set 42, Vehicle Dynamic Systems for schematic and connector information. See: Electronic Brake Control Module > Removal and Replacement > Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) Module. TEST the system for normal operation.NoVERIFY BJB fuse 109 (20A) is OK. If OK, REPAIR circuit 483 (RD). If the fuse is not OK, REFER to the Wiring Diagrams to identify the possible causes of the circuit short. CLEAR the DTCs. TEST the system for normal operation. See: Vehicle > Electrical > Diagrams By Number------------------------------------------------- 7e31ae16-fdd7-4a46-aeb5-da4950e51178.jpg - - Disconnect: ABS Module C135. Measure the voltage between ABS module C135-25, circuit 483 (RD), harness side and ground.
if voltage is greater than 10 volts replace abs module if not
check fuse described in upper section if fuse is bad replace if it blows again you need to check wiring

the issue is definitely power feed short disconnect all accesory fuses to rule any accesories out and try listed fuse again if fuse pops with all accesory fuses out >>>>>>>>>>reccomend a good autoelectricain rather take a look>guessing or taking a chance of blowing or burning a component could be costly

I found the fuse on my microwave under the cover. look for inline fuse I think mine was a 15 amp fuse yours should be marked.

I dont have the fuse diagram of my Ford Windstar and need one to fix a electric problem.The plate lights does not turn on, and need to know if the fuse is good, and first wich one is it.


I think you would have other problems if the fuse was gone. the fuse you need to find also control the Left turn lamp, right park lamp & the right stop lamp. It also controls both sides of the plate. The fuse if you want to check it is in the # 7 position in your fuse box. It would be in the second row of fuses under the relays and it will be the fartest one on the left side (The first one in that row). It's a 15 amp fuse. I'm not saying your stupid but just want to be sure that you know that the fuse panel is on the left side of the steering wheel by the brake pedal. Just wanted to be sure. From the Jeep TJ Wrangler 2004 - Owners Manual (Section 7, Page 255):
Fuse 4 -->> 10 Amp Red -->> Door Switch Defeat
Fuse 16 -->> 10 Amp Red -->> Headlamp Aim (Export only)
Fuse 20 -->> 20 Amp Yellow -->> Transmission: Manual - Clutch Interlock switch by-pass Automatic - Ignition Starter Circuit

Need fuse diagram from 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Don't have owner's manual. The fuse box under hood has words on it, but not the one inside on passenger's side near floorboard
