could be the fuel pump which is located in the gas tank. You should be able to hear it when you turn the key on.

My 97 jimmy will crank but won't turn over. Is it the starter and if so, where do I find it so I can replace it.

If it cranks, but won't start (which is what it sounds like you're saying) the starter is NOT the problem. Check ignition and fuel.

what gave you the reason to change all the things you have replaced. and just remember just because you replaced something doesnt mean that the part may not be defective... check for fuel, fuel pressure, spark, compression first. then i can help you.

It may be a bad ignition mod,, Autozone test
are OK for batteries and Alternators but not
modules because it's not a real test, mostly
continuity test, not component heat test...
Get a new module and try it...

Mystery car

it sounds to me like a bad censor...you would probably have to take it to a shop for them to run a diagnosic test, that should tell you what censor.

CRANKS BUT DOES NOT START

I had this problem with my 97 Jimmy. It is your ignition switch. The switch that touches the tumbler gets wore down. You'll have to tear the steering column apart to get to it and you will need a really small torx driver (not sure what size). Good Luck.
