you should not run the car any more and have the oil pressure checked to be sure the oil pump is pumping hell check the oil first you may have already done the damage i don't know how hard you were driving it when this happened .good luck

What do you mean remapped?
If you mean retuned, then the new Convertor and Flywheel must have thrown the adaptive learning off. timing and Ignition is off now, you are not burning all the fuel that is being Squirted in the Motor. Have the tuner return it to OEM and then retune it. bc to me it sounds like that is the Problem. Did you put the same donut back in and the same oem flywheel? or did you go with a stage kit? Bc these beemers are very sensitive. Have that checked out. Let me know waht it was.

it has a sensor fault but the problem is finding the fault ,best advice here is to ask BMW dealer to have a look for you as sometimes this sort of fault could be anything from a sensor to a microprocessor and without the correct software its very difficult to locate

This is likely having to do with the starting circuit. Have the glow plugs and circuit tested. The glow plugs can easily be tetsed for "proof positive" failure. Let me know what else I can do. Great little cars.
