Question about Cars & Trucks
What is going on? is the alarm siren going and truck will not start? also very important, is this a factory alarm or aftermarket? a good way to tell would be the remote, the remote should be a gm type remote

Try disconnecting your battery cables then wait about 10 minutes. The computer should reset itself. Reconnect the wires to the battery. It is normal for the theft light to blink about every 5 seconds when the ignition key is out or in the off position. This means the system is armed and working properly. Hope this helps. God bless!
