Question about Cars & Trucks

1 Answer

Electric organ has no power.

Vacuumed out all the dust and spider cob webs. Can't find conventional fuses so, what and how should I check. I expect it's the switch or a fuse problem, but don't really know.

well being that the power mirror and window both get power from the same source aka one lead wire i would check to make sure the wire is not damaged from door opening and closing ect.

SOURCE: Trunk lid won't electrically open

Its possible that your problem isnt electricla, maybe mechanical (physical); check the next procedure about Trunk Lid Lock Cylinder REMOVAL & INSTALLATION to confirm and adjust...

zjlimited_1482.jpg

Fig. 1: Pull the trunk lid lock cable upward from the bracket and slide it out of the lock cylinder plate

zjlimited_1483.jpg

Fig. 2: Pull the lock cylinder retaining clip upward

  1. Pull the trunk lid lock cable upward from the bracket and slide it out of the lock cylinder plate.
  2. Pull the lock cylinder retaining clip upward to release the lock cylinder plate.
  3. Remove the lock cylinder plate.
  4. Installation is the reverse of removal.

Add WD40 oil to lubricate all components; about the fuses, you are right, isnt showed in the manual, but could test and check position 25 and 30 in passneger fuse panel (alarm and locking system).

Keep us updated.

SOURCE: Have a 2001 camry &

Here's a couple of lifts from the toyota forum:-

1) I think the coin box is the one to the left of the steering wheel. Squeeze the sides after opening it if I remember correctly. Should be others under the hood.

2) It was behind the coin box. I found the fuse for the radio, clock and replaced it and all is well.

Where is the fuse box for 1996 toyota camry? There are several fuse boxes. one is on the lower left side of the stearing wheel (by where you pop the hood) and the other two are under the hood, on the drivers side by the battery.

Most cars have a fuse diagram on the inside of the fuse box cover.

What type of engine coolant do i use for a 2008 dodge grand caravan?

It calls for a HOAT type coolant...Zerex g05 is the original full chemistry in newer Ford & Daimler Chrysler vehicles. Its Hybrid Organic Acid Technology (HOAT) chemistry combines the best of conventional and organic acid-based chemistry to provide the ultimate protection against rust and corrosion. It's orange in color. Can be purchased at most auto parts retailers

Too much brake dust

The build up of brake dust is from the use of organic brake pads. If you do not want to have to constantly clean your wheels you need to switch to ceramic pads. As for the glob of grease, I think I would check your CV joints at the end of your axle. There isn't too many places that hold a "huge" glob of grease on a modern vehicle.

I have 1986 Alfa Spider that won't start. Car has been sitting for a year. I replaced battery, fuel tank, fuel sender unit, both fuel pumps. I seems that the in tank pumps is not getting any po

Could be the main or fuel run relay located in the compartment under the luggage rack, passenger side, main relay also, fuse for the fuel relay 8amp. Electronic Control Unit is also located there.

Could be electrical, Hook up a timing light, three leads: Power, Ground, and one that goes around the wire to #1 cyl. Turn the engine over and see if there's firing. Note: u can check all 4 spark plugs this way.

Fuse lead goes to pin 30 of the fuel relay, u can jump 30 across to 57 and check for the pumps running, if not, change-I suggest both relays, main and fuel run relays. Both pumps get their 12v DC from the fuel run relay, both should be running when you switch ignition switch to on, then a tachymetric signal is fed from the coil to the relay to keep it running.

I need to put steering wheel fluid for my 05 chevy equinox don't know where to put it in. Can someone please help me?...

2005-2009 models used electric power steering assist exclusively. There is mo power steering pump, reservoir, or fluid on these models. Instead they use an electric motor mounted to the steering column to provide steering assist 2010 models still use the electric power steering on the four cylinder models but also use a conventional hydraulic power steering on the v-6 models. If you have no power steering assist check the 60 amp main fuse for the power steering in the under hood fuse block if that is o.k. You will need a scan tool to find out what is wrong with the system. It is not uncommon for the electric motors to fail or for the fuse to blow while jump starting the vehicle.

Tapping into my cigar lighter wire to wire in my stereo?

Yes you can wire it to the cigar lighter. The only problem is you will have to manually shut the radio off. I would find a 12v source with power only in ignition on position . You can go to the ignition switch for that. Good luck.
