Problem for Jaguar 1997 XJ6

97 Jaguar XJ6 No Start (good battery- no click)

1997 Jaguar XJ6. Battery dead this morning. Charged battery- everything comes on and powers up- turn the key... nothing. No click no nothing. Vehicle does have a Viper alarm system

- I have same problem the battery was dead recharged it and put back on jag every thing works but will not turn over. Its as if the imobiliser needs reseting ? - malcy101

when you battery goes dead, the security system locks the car. When you charge the bathery, use the key to lock the door and hold until the alarm activates. open your door and you can now start your car...dmakia@gmail.com

- when the battery goes dead it activates the security system which prevents the car from starting up. When battery is charged, close door with key and hold until alarm activates and open and start the car.
If you battery goes dead all the time, make sure it is a good battery,...if o.k. ckeck surpression module...for more email questions to dmakia@gmail.com
