not as far as im aware. if you dont have another key, then they should be able to get your key code from their database. they may have to plug a computer into the car to access the cars key code.

You will need to order new keys from the dealership. A locksmith may be able to make a new one, but if your key has an electronic chip in it, there is no way to copy without original because starting the car depends on that chip.

need a new key. Smartlock ECU not recognising the right key in the ignition barrel. I had same prob with mine. There should be a code stamped on the door lock barrel. You will have to remove it to read it. There might be a code on the boot barrel too. This might be easier to access, so I would try him first.

I have a 1978 ford fairmont an i am replacing the ignition cylinder n i dont have the keys so i drilled out the locking pin and it still will not come out.

According to my books the lock barrel has to be in the run position to be pulled out with the lock pin depressed so you will have to find a way to turn it. You will also have to find a way to replace the lock pin when you put it back together or the lock barrel could fall out on its own when the car is running.
If you do get it out make sure the lock barrel is fully in before you lock it by turning it to the off position or it won't engage the retaining pin.
If it were my car I'd be looking for another column with keys. Hope this helps.

I have forget keys inside ford gia car. please anyone can help how can we unlock the care, we dont have any spare key , ford fairmont 2005

If you have access to any narrow opening, you can play with a hook or magnet on a stick or stick plus cord. You don't ask for or expect a *criminal* advice, right?

Starting Problems

there is a rod that goes from your ignition switch down to a box in the steering colum. and when you turn the key it pushes the rod wich inturn conects the electrical circut and tells the starter to engage. you can fix this by takeing the compleat colum out of the car and rebuilding it but if you can finda colum in a junk yard it would be alot easier and faster to replace the whole colum n if you do finda a colum in a junk yard make sure they have the key for the ignition before you buy it from them

1981 ford fairmont electrical

Looks like you have replaced all of the key parts, and then some. At this point I would verify that the alternator is charging the battery. With engine off, check battery voltage. Start the engine and check thre voltage again. It should climb to charging voltage, around 13.0 to 13.5 volts. If it doesn't, check all connections. On a vehicle this old, I would start with the ground circuits.
Good luck.
