To change the fuel filter in your 1986 Ford F350, remove the filter from the joint that also is the fuel pressure regulator with the return line coming out of it and running back to the tanks. It might be hidden in there but it would be a small filter. http://www.spobd2.com/wholesale/elm-327-usb-can-bus-scanner-elm327-software.html

SOURCE: 2002 Ford Explorer ran out of gas put gas in and won't restart. replaced fuel pump and fuel filter still won't start. Cranks but won't start

Most Fords have a fuel reset button. When you ran out of gas you tripped the circuit. Most of the time the button will be on the passenger side by the kick panel. The exact location should be in your owners manual or your local library or auto parts store will have a copy of one for your specific vehicle.

Changed sensor 1 bank 1 and found I have four on 96 Yukon makes noise like putting underneath. Now want start. Wuts wrong

tell me did, did skipping start after you replace oxygen sensor or did vechicle already have skip before sensor change if so skipping can be caused by intake leak, bad spark plugs and wires, could have restricted fuel filter, weak fuel pump or weak ignition coil. if skipping occur after you replaced oxygen sensor could have loose sensor or cross thread sensor threads causing exhaust leak around oxygen sensor.

Eaiest way to change a fuel filter on a 94 accord?

It is not easy. You will need a 14mm crowsfoot flare nut wrench (Snap On # FRHM14 at snapon.com, go to the website and type the FRHM14 in the search box at the top left to see it.) a long extension (24in.) and a long handle ratchet. This is done from above, thats why you need the long extension.leave the filter bolted in too break the flare nut loose. Because the flare nut is on the bottom of the filter, you will need to turn the wrench to right. then remove the banjo bolt (17mm), unbolt the filter and reaching down unthread the flare nut. When installing the new filter, thread the flare nut into the filter first, this kind of tricky, you can only get one hand down there. Make sure the flare nut is threaded in by hand until tight, otherwise if you put the wrench on while loose, you can cross-thread the nut. Good luck!

Fuel leaks out of the bottom of fuel filter

Did you recently replace the filter?

If so it needs to be tightened

If not it needs replaced

If it is the style that threads instead of clips then becarefull not to cross thread it.
