My '99 Oldsmobile Intrigue has heating an AC issues. It won't change settings from floor to front to defrost. It's stuck on floor/defrost setting and won't move. How do I fix this issue. Also, the drivers side changes to the correct temp, but the passenger side doesn't.

Remove the Positive Battery Terminal, leave the Negative Terminal connected. Wait 30 minutes. Attach the Positive Terminal. Verify temperature settings is around 70 degrees. This procedure has been known to resolve computer settings.

try unhooking battery for a few minutes this will cause actuators to do a full sweep and reset. if it is still stuck then will need to replace the actuator for blend door on that side

HVAC control head problem or it is the air Temp Control Valve problem. THe control head is the one with the buttons and knobs and the control vavle is located on the HVAC carrier assembly underneath dashboard (two of them one on left and one on right in center). This is a job for someone who has knowledge of HVAC and electrical on a GM vehicle.

Sounds like there is a crack in the vent that leads to the drivers side, and hot air from the engine is leaking through.
