Code 301 is for a loss of power on cylinder one. Could be an ignition or fuel problem. That can cause the shaking problem, but not the reverse problem.

You really need to have this checked out. A scanner and a lot of electrical knowledge is need to fix this. You could spend hundreds, only to find out it was a bad wire. P0607 is a PCM problem. P0301 could be caused by this or could be a bad plug, wire, or coil.

Car shakes during idle


Those are misfire codes 300 is multiple misfires, 301 is same but is cylinder 1, 303 is cylinder 3. This could be injectors or coil packs.

2003 gmc jimmy on hills loses power check engine blinks then stalls upon restart performs great runs well on flats and even not steep hills .


when engine light blink it is only one thing.......misfire you could have P0300,P0301 and so on
P0300 is multiple misfire
P0301 is cylinder no 1 misfire,the last number tell you the no cylinder

your 301 code is misfire on # 1cylinder this a generic
code, the1684 code is factory code call your dealer
they will tell you watt that code is
